Dr. Schickler excels at evaluating patients with endocrine problems and understands that endocrine diseases, especially diabetes mellitus, involve the whole patient. Though diagnosis and treatment can be a challenge, she believes that educating her patients about their endocrine disorder is essential in providing effective care.
Biography
Dr. Schickler earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, and completed her residency and medical internship at Milwaukee County Medical Complex. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Endocrinology. Her areas of expertise include diseases or conditions of the thyroid, pituitary gland, adrenal gland, osteoporosis and Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. Additionally, Dr. Schickler is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine.
