Philosophy
My interest in women’s health spans from childhood through adolescence and adulthood, including pediatric and adolescent gynecologic concerns, as well as the general gynecologic care for women and care throughout their pregnancies.
Biography
Maura Parker Quinlan M.D., M.P.H. received her Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College and her Master in Public Health degree from Yale University with an emphasis on Maternal & Child Health Policy. She received her medical degree from Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine and completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago Hospitals where she also served as Chief Resident. Dr Quinlan was Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago and was Director of Medical Education for OB/GYN. Dr Quinlan served as the primary provider for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology for the University School of Medicine, and served as Medical Director of Teen Services and Director of Gynecologic Ambulatory Care at Grady Memorial Hospital. Throughout her career, she has been awarded several grants, academic and teaching honors and has published and presented on a variety of obstetrical and gynecological health issues concerning children, adolescents and women. Dr. Quinlan joined MacNeal in 2007, where she worked with MacNeal Obstetrics and Gynecology Association (MOGA), a team of seven highly trained physicians with offices throughout Chicago to provide quality patient care. She is board certified in Obstetrics an Gynecology and welcomes you to her practice.
