Throughout her career, she has been awarded numerous grants, academic accolades and teaching honors. Additionally, Dr. Schraufnagel has published and presented on a variety of geriatric health issues.
Biography
Dr. Schraufnagel is a board-certified physician specializing in Geriatric Medicine. After graduating from Northwestern University, she earned a medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed residencies in Internal Medicine at Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, Quebec and Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. Dr. Schraufnagel has also served as an Assistant Professor at Rush University Medical School, and is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine.
