Biography

Dr. Janakiram is a graduate of Youngstown State University, OH. She earned her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio University's College of Medicine, OH and completed her residency at the University of Chicago-MacNeal Hospital.  Her professional experience includes quality assurance and peer review of family practice curriculum and precepting medical students at the University of Illinois community health clinic. She has co-authored research and publications regarding fall prevention in the elderly. Dr. Janakiram is a member of the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. She is fluent in Tamil and medical Spanish. Dr. Janakiram invites you to a partnership on your journey to health and wellness.
