Kathleen Mahoney, M.D.

Philosophy

I believe that listening is key to providing quality care. I want the women I care for to know that I will do my best to help them through all stages of their lives: adolescence, the reproductive years and childbirth, and through menopause.

Biography

Dr. Kathleen Mahoney received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Biology from Stanford University. In 1996 she graduated from the University of Southern California Medical School. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago, where she participated in a wide range of gynecologic surgeries. Following her residency Dr. Mahoney joined a private practice for two years and during that time experienced childbirth, first hand, with the birth of her son in February 2002. This experience reinforced her mission to ensure that her pregnant patients have a positive experience throughout their pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Dr. Mahoney joined Vanguard Medical Group in April of 2003, where she works with a team of physicians to provide quality patient care. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Mahoney is an OB/GYN serving patients in La Grange and throughout Chicago.
