Biography

Dr. Edward Kirsh completed his training in General Surgery and Urology at the University. of Chicago Hospitals.  He earned his medical degree from Boston University.  He is a certified diplomat of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Highly respected in the field of minimally invasive laser therapy for enlarged prostate symptoms, Dr. Kirsh is among the most active laser surgeons worldwide and has been featured on WGN News TV and WBIG radio for his expertise in laser therapy.  He is also considered an expert in InterStim therapy for bladder control problems in both women and men.

Dr. Kirsh has co-authored several publications and is a noted lecturer throughout the country addressing various urologic issues.  His other interests include treatment of kidney stones, laparoscopic kidney surgery and bladder and prostate cancer.

Dr. Kirsh is a Urology specialist serving patients in Berwyn and throughout Chicago. He is accepting both adult and pediatric patients.
