Melissa Bishop, M.D.

Philosophy

I believe that education is one of the most important aspects of patient care. By educating my patients, I feel I give them the opportunity to make well-informed decisions about their health. In doing so, I hope to empower my patients to become active partners in their own health care.

Biography

Dr. Bishop completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame. She attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and did her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago Hospitals. She has been a physician with the Vanguard MacNeal Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates since 2007. She is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
